Tier 3 Consulting LLC d/b/a ShipSync ("ShipSync," "we," "us," or "our") provides third-party logistics and fulfillment services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website, business services, customer support, and text messaging.
1. Scope and client information
This policy applies to website visitors, prospective and current clients, business contacts, people whose information we receive to provide fulfillment or support services, and employees participating in ShipSync's SMS program. Its coverage of employees is limited to information handled for that messaging program.
When a client provides information about its customers or shipment recipients, we generally handle that information on the client's behalf to perform the requested services. The client's own privacy policy also applies to its collection and use of that information. Requests about an order or purchase may need to be directed to the merchant that sold the goods.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and business information, such as names, business names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and mailing or delivery addresses.
- Fulfillment and account information, such as order references, shipping instructions, tracking information, inventory or receiving records, returns, and billing or payment-related details needed to administer client accounts.
- Communications, such as inquiries, emails, support requests, and SMS or MMS messages, including business conversations, work-related employee messages, and information you choose to provide.
- Text messaging records, such as the mobile number, the consent provided, when and how consent was obtained, message history, and opt-out requests.
- Technical information that our website or hosting providers may collect, such as IP address, browser or device information, access times, and pages visited.
We receive information directly from you, from clients and their authorized contacts, and from service providers involved in the services you or our clients request. Please provide only information needed for the inquiry or service.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; establish and administer client accounts; receive, store, fulfill, and track shipments; coordinate returns and shipping corrections; provide customer support; maintain business records; improve our services; protect systems and prevent misuse; and meet contractual or legal obligations.
Where you have agreed to receive ShipSync service texts, we use your mobile number to send the types of messages described in that consent and in our SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions. Providing a phone number for an order or inquiry does not, by itself, authorize us to initiate service texts.
4. How information is disclosed
We disclose information as needed to authorized service providers that perform services for ShipSync, such as website hosting, warehouse management, shipping and delivery, payment processing, communications, and customer support. They receive information relevant to their role, subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose relevant information to the client responsible for a shipment or account, or to a person you authorize. We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to rights or safety.
ShipSync does not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing. The specific protections for SMS information below apply to text messaging consent and participation.
5. Mobile information and SMS consent
We do not sell, rent, trade, or provide mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their independent use or messaging campaigns. Providers that help deliver ShipSync messages or maintain consent and opt-out records may process this information only to support those services for ShipSync, subject to confidentiality and use restrictions.
The general disclosures elsewhere in this policy do not permit sharing SMS opt-in information or consent for anyone else's marketing or messaging programs. You can withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP or contacting us.
6. Cookies and website technology
Our website and its providers may use cookies or similar technology to support site functions, maintain preferences, protect the site, and understand website activity where those features are enabled. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect website functionality.
Links to other websites or services may be provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable contractual or legal requirements. We may retain limited consent and opt-out records to document messaging permissions and respect requests to stop texting.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may ask us to correct contact information, explain how we handle your information, or review a request for access or deletion by emailing support@shipsync.com. Depending on applicable law and our role in handling the information, additional rights or exceptions may apply. We may need to verify your identity or direct a request to the relevant client before acting on it.
To stop ShipSync service texts, reply STOP to a message. For messaging assistance, reply HELP or contact us. Opting out of texts does not prevent you from using our services or contacting us through other channels.
9. Children
Our website and business services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Policy updates
We may update this policy as our services or requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain new consent. Updating this policy does not enroll anyone in a text messaging program.
